Out with the Old, In with the New

Wow---finally tomorrow Obama will be our president! Now I do feel as though people are putting maybe a lot of unrealistic expectations into this presidency. I do think he'll do a great job, though, but you know what I mean? As a side note I was recently talking with Stephen and I said that it boggles my mind that people forget that Obama is half Caucasian, half African American. Which to me is just as significant, if not more, than being one race or the other, because I really do believe that bi-racial and multi-racial is the future and only now are people, at least here in the States, becoming comfortable with this idea. Maybe I'm more sensitive to this because of my background, but when I think of Obama in this light, I don't think "the first black president" I think "the first bi-racial president". So Marcus and I really want to watch Will Farrell's Broadway show "You're Welcome America"...it's so easy to make fun of Bush. Ha ha. Last night I encountered a somewhat disturbing phenomena....take a look...
