The Sleep Professional

Growing up I never was one of those people who slept for 12 hours on the weekend...I would always be the first person up, wanting to call my friends at 7:30AM on a Sunday morning. But I swear ever since this internship started, I have become an Olympic sleeper. I feel like I could sleep for 16 hours no problem. Well, tomorrow I start back on surgery, which means daytime office hours, so I hope I'm in a better place. Because this constant exhaustion is really getting to me. On a happy note, Gustaf had a recheck appointment with the veterinary dentist after he had stomatitis---it's an immune reaction some cats get in response to plaque on their teeth. The cure is to yank the teeth out. Gustaf had three teeth pulled. No one really knows why it happens. Well he checked out with flying colors. I hope that by keeping up with brushing his teeth this won't happen again. On a random note, the past few months I have had to blow dry my hair to prevent the layers in my hair from winging out in strange directions...and it dawned on me that I never publicly raved about my wonderful hair dryer! It was well worth the cost, since it dries my hair super quick and is pretty quiet for a hair dryer. Highly recommended. Over the holidays Gustaf donned the mini reindeer ears that have been passed on from pet generation to pet generation (dating back to Pepper our Dalmatian). Gustaf didn't seem to mind them!
